Ukrainian market of alternative energy will gather again in Kyiv at GREENEXPO | Alternative Energy 2010 the second international trade show and conference. Last year experience confirmed the actuality of the event: about 62 stands from Ukraine, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands worked hard during the 3 days of the event, more than 3,000 experts came to get acquainted with possibilities of the ‘new old’ branch.
Development priority of alternative energy is obvious all over the world. Investment scales is increasing, first of all into the generating capacity, based on the usage of wind and solar energy. In 2009 only the scale of state stimulating packages for alternative energy in leading countries made $180 billion. It is noticeable, that the announcement of the outstanding American bank together with Morgan Stanley, which was made in the beginning of November 2009, stated, that they refuse from financing of energy projects, connected with development of natural resources.
Nowadays we have all reasons to talk about development of renewable energy in Ukraine. In ‘solar’ and ‘wind’ segments, there are already producers of equipment, engineering companies, dealers, and bioenergy branch looks perspective too. Careful attention of the Government can be seen in acceptance of more than 50 laws, aimed at support and development of the branch. The launch of the RENEXPO trade show and conference in 2009 became important event for Ukrainian alternative energy. Active work of the trade show was directed to the consolidation of the market and reflected actuality and importance of introduction of ‘green’ technologies.
Starting from 2010, the trade show and conference will be titled GREENEXPO | Alternative Energy. Re-branding will allow adapting the name of the event, making it acceptable and understandable for the national consumer.
GREENEXPO | Alternative Energy 2010 will introduce the latest technologies, innovative developments and equipment in solar, wind, hydro and thermal energy, heating pumps, cogeneration and trigeneration energy plants, spare parts for alternative energy plants, technologies and equipment for production of alternative motor fuels, solid biofuels, biogas, energy-saving technologies in construction.
Exposition will present achievements of leading domestics and international companies. Last year among the exhibitors of the trade show there were AQUADOM, GEKO-CENTER, GEO-NET Umweltconsulting, Global Technology, Gresa-Group, Inmatech, Kvazar, Nature Fuel Osnabruecker Olmuhle, Roth Werke GmbH, Special Technologies, Terezine, VDE – Ukraine, VENTUREAL, Volyn-Kalvis etc.
Simultaneously with the trade show the organizing committee is planning to hold three specialized conferences on Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Solid Biofuel: Modern Equipment and Engineering Decisions — together with Ukrainian and foreign experts.
GREENEXPO | Alternative energy 2010 trade show and conference will be held on October 27 – 29 in KyivExpoPlaza Kyiv exhibition venue. The same time will be held EKOTEX the first trade show of ecologic technologies.
