FAUN has delivered the first refuse collection truck with hydrogen fuel cell to the Berlin Stadtreinigung.
It is the first truck which uses the energy of a hydrogen fuel cell for emptying bins and loading waste into the truck. The motor of the chassis it is only used for long distances. The waste disposal company BSR in Berlin will test the truck the next two years.
